Let Your Child Amaze You
How does Kumon Work?
Nothing gives a child more confidence in school
than a solid command of the basics: the
fundamental building blocks of math and reading.
That's why Kumon is designed specifically to help
children master those basics at every grade, from
preschool all the way up to college. For children of
all ages and ability levels, Kumon is an ideal
companion to school.
Kumon addresses one of the realities of school: classes move ahead at a pace that
doesn't always take into account your child's specific abilities.  Struggling children fall
behind, gifted children become bored, and so-called "average" children are destined to
remain ...average.  It's not the fault of the teachers or the child.  It is simply the only way
schools can manage the needs of a wide variety of students.

Kumon helps children gradually master the fundamental building blocks of math and
reading, step by step, and lets each child set his or her own pace.  The result is that
many children eventually end up working above their actual grade, while building their
confidence and study skills along the way.
What is Kumon?
Kumon is an after-school math
and reading program that
employs a unique learning
method designed to help each
child master the basics of math
and reading.  The curriculum
spans from preschool all the way
up to college.
